Introducing my new Asian Queen, Shadows Aneski Lavendablue. This little girl has just joined the family and has settled in remarkably quickly. She is very affectionate and gentle, and likes to be worn like a scarf! As she is wherever you are, we have decided that the name 'Shadow' definitely suits her best.

The other kittens have taken to her and I am sure she and Mirus, the smoke Mau boy I am keeping, will remain firm friends as they grow up together. Both she and Mirus will hopefully be making their debuts on the show bench soon!. My sincere thanks to both Cyndy and Lucy for producing such a lovely little girl for me.

Treacle, our caramel burmilla queen

My foundation queen is/was my beautiful Burmilla, Chadanell Treacle Starlite. She is a lovely, kind and gentle girl who has the most expressive eyes.

I had hoped that Treacle would help me to produce my first Asian show girl, but I am afraid she has had her own views on the subject. Despite numerous visits to stud in 2006, she has remained kittenless. But she is such a family favourite and loved companion of Fizz, her space on the bed still remains...

A little bit to the left please

At present Fizz is my only Mau queen. I am hoping to retain one of her kittens for showing, and if all goes to plan hope to have a bronze girl to show and eventually breed from in 2007. Fingers crossed. Fizz is a delight. She is very loving and purrs as soon as you speak to her, let alone touch her.

Fizz loves to be adored

She loves to be groomed and adored, which I am sure she believes is the legacy left to her by her ancient ancestors.

She does seem to spend a lot of her time on her back, showing her belly, which she also loves to have rubbed, but again I think it's just to show off her belly spots. At one of the shows, I returned to find her completely flaked out on her back. Concerned that she had pegged it, I reached nervously in for her to slowly chirp and smile before curling her head back down and raising all her legs higher in the air than before.

Totally laid back

She has done well in the shows I have entered her in, winning two BOBS, two Open firsts and firsts in several miscellaneous classes. (I was also proud of her achieving a third in a large class that contained 3 Imperial Grands.)

I have no doubt that she will make a wonderful and loving mum who will pass her wonderful temperament on to her offspring. My cats are not only my hobby and passion, but my family pets. I primarily want to show and therefore, help the breed progress. However, there may be times when kittens are available to loving permanent homes as pets or breeding/show homes to like minded people. Please check my kitten page or contact me for details.
